Vehicle Specific Fitting Kit
Fitting kits are made unique to each car so you will be asked to state what car you have during the checkout process.
A new car needs a new kit!
A standard fitting kit is required for most cars but you can check our Will it fit tool if you’re not sure which kit to order.
If you’re placing a seat order with us one fitting kit will come included with your purchase.
If you are planning on using the Multimac between two cars then you will need to purchase a second fitting kit and list both cars at checkout.
Specification
Your fitting kit will contain everything needed to fit the multimac safely and securely in your car.
This could be:
- Plated tethers (for buckles held in with a stud)
- Wrap around tethers (for buckles attached to solid seat frame based around a steel tube)
- Tethers on a mallion with eyebolts (for buckles bolted in to the floor)
The kit will also come with the correct eye bolts and other fitting parts for your car
Compatibility
A ‘standard’ fitting kit is very car specific and will only be compatible with the car you list at checkout.
If you buy a new car or receive a multimac from someone else you will need a new fitting kit for your specific car.
Safety fitted as standard
The Multimac is crash tested at VTI in Sweden and is fully approved to European car seat safety regulation ECE 44-04.
The Multimac may not be safe if it is not secured to your car with the correct fitting kit!
