One seat, rear facing, all the way to four
Most infant seats turn a child forward long before they need to be. The Extended Rear Facing Minimac keeps them rear facing to 105cm or 19.5kg, whichever comes first, and it does that inside a Multimac rather than beside one.
Mechanically locked in
The Minimac locks into the Multimac chassis with a mechanical locking system. No straps to thread, no fitting to second guess each time.
Lifts out with carry straps
It comes out like a normal infant carrier. Carry straps mean a sleeping baby goes from car to house without waking.
Washable cover
The cover comes off completely and washes at 30 degrees. Which you will need, sooner than you think.
Built into the bench, not bolted beside it
The Minimac sits within the Multimac, which means a baby and up to three older children share one row in a normal car.
How the Multimac holds it
The Minimac only works with a Multimac, so the fitting that matters is the fitting of the Multimac itself. It is anchored to the car, not to the seats.
Two tether straps, bolted to the floor
The Multimac is held by two tether straps bolted through the floor of your car, usually using the existing seat belt buckle mounting points under the back seat.
Special fitting where needed
If those mounting points don't exist or aren't suitable, we drill the floor to create our own. We call that a Special Fitting.
Parts made for your car
Bolts, eye bolts and tether straps are made to specification, safety tested and approved. They are car specific, so tell us the make, model and year. Change cars and you'll need a new fitting kit.
Fitted by an approved agent
We strongly recommend one of our nominated fitting agents, and you can have your Multimac delivered straight to a garage at checkout. If you aren't mechanically minded, please don't attempt this yourself.
More than one car
Tether straps can be fitted to several cars so the Multimac moves between them. Each car needs its own fitting kit.
ISOFIX must not be used
ISOFIX points are not strong enough to hold a Multimac. They must not be used, on any car, under any circumstances.
This is why the Multimac anchors into the chassis instead. It is the reason the system can carry three or four children at once, and it is not a detail we compromise on.

Before you ask
Can I use the Minimac without a Multimac?
No. The Minimac locks into the Multimac chassis and is designed to be used with it. It is the only infant seat that works with a Multimac, and a Multimac is the only thing it works with.
Can I take the baby out without unfitting the seat?
Yes. The Minimac lifts out of the Multimac like a normal infant carrier and has carry straps. The Multimac itself stays bolted in.
Why can't I fit it with ISOFIX?
ISOFIX points aren't strong enough to hold a Multimac and must not be used. The Multimac anchors to the floor of the car with tether straps and bolts made for your specific make, model and year.
What happens when my child outgrows it?
At 105cm or 19.5kg, whichever comes first, they move into a Multimac seat position alongside their brothers and sisters. Nothing needs to be re-fitted, because the Multimac is already in the car.
Can I move it between cars?
The Multimac can move between cars if each one has tether straps fitted. Every car needs its own fitting kit, because the parts are made for that specific vehicle.
When is it available?

“Great product and service from the Multimac team - just the solution we needed for our car so that we can ensure the safety of the kids having them all together in one row - also meaning the boot is free to fit in the buggy (and many other bags) which is an essential for us!”
“One of the greatest products we’ve ever purchased for our children! Cannot say enough great things about this company and their products. Genius on many levels.”
“Such a unique product - I just wish I'd found them when our 3rd originally arrived, and we wouldn't have had to change cars.....! Can't recommend the company and product enough. The kids love it (we did a European trip with the 3 across the back and there were zero complaints.....about the seat...!). Anyone I know that has 3 (or 4!) I recommend it to them.”
“We’re very happy with our Multimac - it’s nearly impossible to fit three child seats in a Renault Grand Scenic, and this solved the problem perfectly! There’s plenty of legroom, it’s easy to buckle up all three kids (even the one in the middle!), and they absolutely love it.”
“Problem solved. How to fit three grandsons all in car seats with two adults... Multimac 1000 means we can have three grandsons (9 months, 4 and 6 years old) in the back seat of our Mercedes Benz Marco Polo campervan with two adults on the front seats... Excellent service, clear, easy fitting instructions, a very well conceived and engineered product. Most importantly, the safety aspects are top notch.”
